From the 'A to Z Home's Cool Homeschooling', this page contains a simple list of words to be read for decoding ability and not comprehension.

A neat site which times you on your quickness in reading a passage. However, it does involves scrolling as you read and does not test for comprehension.

This is a commercial site which sells, among other items, 'quizzes' for many of the popular books that children read. I can see these quizzes as being helpful for some parents and children to better gauge the level of reading comprehension the child has. Would also be helpful to those parents who are homeschooling their children. |
