Posted by Kim P on 11/5/2002, 8:01 am , in reply to "If we were to send a message to our children" I would tell them that it is OK to have failed at something - those are lessons we will carry with us all of our lives. That it is OK to feel bad and be upset but not to stay there - picking oneself up and dusting oneself off is the only way to keep moving forward. That "normal" is who they are and what they think - everyone is normal. Finding like-minded people is not always easy but sometimes you find them in unexpected places. That no matter how dark it seems today there is always tomorrow. Search out and find the things that make you smile and the things that tug at your heart - those things will make your life worth living. Lastly I would tell them that no matter what happens they can get through it. Kim
