The Conquest and the Aftermath
Introduction
Again, I came up empty in regards to novelizations of this time period. Instead, I've worked in a book called "Wow Canada" which takes us from BC to the Yukon in a very lighthearted way. It has nothing to do with the history, but it's fun. I'm planning to have my daughter create a map of the family's trip as we read through this book.
And yes, I do know about G. A. Henty's book, "With Wolfe in Canada," but when we got it from the library my daughter and I decided it was completely unreadable. Neither of us are military buffs (no offense intended to any Henty fans who might be out there!).
