Jack's
Journal I went to the Museum of Nature. We went to this rock place where there's all sort of rocks. We saw the Earth and it was so big we couldn't even see our continent! Right at the top! We couldn't even see it! We went to a place where there's all sort of rock things and volcano things, then we went to "How Life Began" and we got to see how life began. Life began with a big bang. Then there became a Milky Way. The sun was born when that boom came. Whoosh! The rocks goed out fast, fast, fast. Then there was a spiral cloud and the spiral cloud was around the sun and the sun was in space. The rocks clumped together to make planets. The planets are around the sun and that's how Earth came. And then there was lava streams and rain falling down and that's how the sea came. And in the sea there was these little tiny intsy bintsy plants. They're giving oxygen for animals and humans like us. We went and we were finding some dinosaur bones. I found a lowercase jaw. We went upstairs to see a big kind of bird. We saw lots of birds. There were mammals; wolves and bears and cougars. An animal that's a mammal doesn't lay an egg. All mammals do their babies inside their tummies, then they go out their bums. That's true, you know. And they have fur. We had lunch. We went to this place where there's four pictures. The first picture shows how forests began. The second picture shows what the humans do to get houses - they chop down trees. The third picture is they began a farm where this airplane is and this house. The airplane was flying and dropping minerals so the bugs don't eat the stuff. The fourth picture's what it looks today. There was smelly garbage. The garbage was paper, tiny bits of paper. I saw a peacock. The boy peacocks have very big feathers on their tails so the girl peacock would think she would like to marry him. Then we saw some of these plants. I got to eat Anise seeds, and they're pretty yummy. They tasted like licorice. There was a message from us from the bees. The bees decided to say they're coming back in summer. I think they're in Australia, 'cause Australia have Christmas in the middle of the summer. It's summer right now in Australia, so I know the bees are there, 'cause Australia is pretty fun and it also has lots of people&ldots; to sting! Then we went home. The end!
