We went to the Museum of Aviation.  We saw all kinds of airplanes.  I went with my mother because she's the only one who can stay home.

We saw airplanes that go on water, and we saw some pictures on some airplanes.  We had a little treasure hunt looking for the pictures.  The pictures were called logos.  One logo was an Indian, one of them was a Canada goose, and one of them was a racecar flag.

The first logo I found looks like a maple leaf.  It was on Lockheed.  We had to go everywhere to find the hardest one and it was called Stimson's SR Reliant.  It was a plane that goes on water.  Some of it was silver, some of it was red, some of it was yellow and some of it was black.  It was hard to find the logo because we didn't see any place that was silver, but then Mommy found it and then I found it.  It was on the silver pontoon.

The one that was easiest was a black cat.  It was the Canuck.

The one that has the dice was the Westland Lysander III.

I'll tell you how planes fly if you listen.  Here's how it goes.  The wind goes over the wings and if you want to pull down then you push that thing that's between your legs forward, and if you want to go up then you pull back.  The top of the airplane wings was round, but the bottom of the wings are flat.  The only type of wings that are not like that are on the biplane.  A biplane is a olden time plane that has four wings, two wings on each side, one is on top and one is on the bottom.  There are little poles to hold the top wing up.

I got a prize when we finished all of the treasure hunt.  It was pin that says, "I Spy."  It also says, "Canada Aviation Museum."
